Who am I?
My name is Ahmad, and I am a Palestinian immigrant, first-generation student, soon to be lawyer, just trying to use my words to free my people, all people, and get back home. I enjoy writing poetry, eating good food, and traveling.
I have written and reported for Al Jazeera, The Guardian, The Intercept, The Nation, CNN and others. My poetry also appears, or is forthcoming, in Poetry Northwest, Diode Editions, Kweli Journal, Laurel Review, and others. I also have published legal research and have served as a research assistant on First-Amendment Research.
