"And Saif, his name barely registered in the press. No statement of outrage. No calls for investigation. No flag at half-mast. If he had been anyone else—white, Jewish, Western, his name would be a headline. But he was Palestinian, and that means his death is a footnote in a genocide without end. It means being blamed for your own killing. It means learning that your life is less than disposable. It is, to the West, invisible."... thank you for speaking Saif's name among the other martyrs. we will never forget them.

Thanks, Ahmad, for this beautiful tribute to those who have been martyred in Palestine.

So many of us care, but our voices aren't being heard. Thanks for speaking up, and for all who speak up for Palestine.

"The State Department confirmed Kamel’s death, called it “alarming,” and said it was “a tragedy.” A tragedy. As if his life were a natural disaster and not the direct result of American bombs and American policy."

Beautiful, so beautiful ❤️ This is deep and true. Saif, and so many others, should still be here, but they are here with us in ways their killers cannot fathom.

"There is something sacred in this pain. It binds us across oceans and generations. It reminds us that we are part of a people who have refused to disappear. That even when the world turns its back, we face forward. We speak. We write. We mourn loudly. We refuse to forget."

* I love these words. Those of us along the periphery are living in our own state of emotional siege. We stage personal mutinies in various ways. Yours includes the powerful writing that you share. Before I read your posts, I knew little to nothing of your people's struggles. In Texas, we've been more worried about the Mexican border "crisis." Now, we're fighting like crazy to oust this outrageous administration. I'm beginning to see the connections with other countries who are controlling OUR narrative. We've been lied to, deceived, and by means of media manipulation, led to understand the world in a "trumped up" way. I'm grateful for your work. I wonder what those Hills of Senjii look like or Ramallah. I'll have to see if I am granted access to visuals on this BEFORE the devastation. Thank you for your educational posts.

Thank you for speaking truth. Your writing is beautiful and painful. What's happening in Gaza is horrifying. Millions support Palestinian people. We speak up, shout, call & write to elected officials. We March with free Palestine posters during protests. In my opinion we have allowed people & our governments divide us all over the world with fear & lies they tell. 1 example is, if we speak up about GEONASIDE in Gaza we are antisemitic. If we wish for Jewish people to be free of their dictator president in Isreal than we're against Palestine. I want peace for all people. Look at Ukraine. It's horrifying to see so many suffer. We are all connected by land & oceans. we can't allow governments or evil people divide us. I live in America, so ashamed of the regime in the white house. The fear, abuse, cruelty is Terrifying here. But that won't stop me from speaking up. We have to rid this world of evil. Don't allow anyone to shame you or silence you. We must continue to stand by each other's side and love the many beautiful human beings in this world. America is supposed to be the melting pot of the world with many cultures, foods, faiths! I love that part of America. I want that back! Love to all♥️🇵🇸🇺🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇲🇽🫂

Every life has meaning. Everyone who dies should have the dignity of being remembered, with respect for who he or she was, and with love for the empty place in our hearts where they still live.
