These are NOT regional conflicts and can happen anywhere: Bahawalpur, Venice, Italy, or Boston, Massachusetts.
What is left of our humanity is slowly being eviscerated. It has taken us millennia, but we have finally devolved into a species of technocratic slaves on a hamster wheel driven by compliance and willful ignorance and headed for self-destruction. Our greed, narcissism, and endless need for consumption and mindless distraction is equaled if not exceeded by our compulsion to surrender our sovereignty and personal autonomy and to remain psychologically handcuffed to a soulless, unelected cabal of global elites.

I agree for the most part. However, it's the monied people that control everything. We THE real people have little control in these matters. Voting in the west means pick your preferred preselected criminal.
There is a collective delusion that US presidents are elected fairly and that your vote counts in that process. If voting actually worked as intended and improved the lives of citizens, the process would be made illegal. US presidents are not elected; they are installed. They are anointed by powerful corporate and banking interests and charged with the specific task of maintaining the status quo, be it endless wars, a corrupt debt-based financial system, or a fraudulent healthcare system designed to keep people sick, dependent on vaccines, and addicted to costly prescription drugs. In addition to malfeasance in electronic voting systems, a key mechanism to further ensure voting outcomes is the Electoral College, a magical system that allows carefully selected state officials to override a state’s popular vote in US elections.
To underscore what little impact your vote has on the outcome of a presidential election, one would only have to listen carefully to the words of Larry Fink, the billionaire CEO of BlackRock, the world’s largest investment management firm handling $11.5 trillion in assets.
Prior to the 2024 election, Fink spoke to an audience of his financial associates:
“I’m tired of hearing this is the biggest election in your lifetime. It really doesn’t matter. We work with both administrations and are having conversations with both candidates.”
